Avenue Travel Services has in-house on-line booking capability for multiple rail products, including Amtrak, Via Rail Canada, Rail Europe and Britrail. We can customize your rail vacation and provide you with the same high level of service you would normally expect with air reservations.

We have the ability to quote fares within the United States, and we can also provide you rail fares between most European cities and the approximate travel times. We can customize your European vacation by assisting you with a multiple country rail pass appropriate to your travel requirements, giving you the best value for your travel dollar.

In addition to our regular rail products, we offer the Amtrak Rail/Fly program, allowing you to travel via train with up to five stopovers anywhere in the United States and return by air on United Airlines.

Car Rental Services

We have access to over seventy domestic and international car rental companies though the Apollo/ Galileo reservation system. We can provide instant confirmation for the car your require and provide the following additional information;

Car manufacturer and model
Smoking or nonsmoking car confirmation
On terminal or off-terminal location
Free shuttle information
Tax rate and airport access fees

Avenue Travel maintains a database of over 500 corporate discounts for rental car companies, helping assure you of the lowest rates. We provide frequent flyer numbers for each individual reservation helping you maximize your mileage accrual.

Hotel Booking Services

Utilizing the Galileo/ Apollo computer reservations system, we have online access to over 100,000 hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts worldwide. Our system has information on hotels such as AAA rating, directions to the hotel, facilities including restaurants and health clubs, and ground transportation costs. We can also access and guarantee your room category directly with over 35,000 properties through Apollo’s INSIDE LINK feature, providing you with the same detailed information you obtain calling a hotel directly, for example;

Guaranteed smoking or non-smoking rooms

• Room location within the hotel (high floors, low floors, and poolside)
• Discounted rooms, including;

This feature is available with hotel chains such as Hilton, Hyatt, Radisson and Holiday Inns, just to name a few.

We offer three corporate hotel programs. The Thor Corporate Hotel Program provides you with below corporate rates at over 12,000 hotels worldwide. Many hotels include value-added amenities, such as complimentary room upgrades, late checkout or free buffet breakfast. Through this program we also offer block-space rooms with certain hotels. Rooms are retained for our clients and may be available even when entire cities are "sold out" for specific dates. We also subscribe to the TGI and CCRA hotel programs, which both offer discounted hotel rates and negotiated rates at small inns and bed and breakfast around the globe.
